The Symbology of the Portal: access to Open Science Libraries

Our logo displays an open pomegranate as a symbol of the fruits of knowledge and data exposure. Open Science is here to stay. Human Sciences too. Now it's time to combine the two of them! This Portal was created by the Projeto institucional of PEPG at LEAL supported by CNPq 25/2020 and 02/2021 Lists.

UN ODS

The Pillars of Open Science are provided by the UN SDGs

This Multimodal/Multilingual Portal for the Advancement of Open Science aims to collaborate with a movement that shares the same name, that is, Open Science, and which consists of “A new approach to the scientific process based on cooperative work and new forms of spreading knowledge using digital technologies and new collaborative tools […]” (EUROPEAN COMMISSION, 2016 apud BERBER SARDINHA et.al, 2021, p. 3). For some time, this concept has been consolidating itself among researchers in the areas of technology, computing and
natural sciences, however, it is still incipient in the area of the humanities.
